Thanks for the interest! If you arrived here by clicking on a link in an email sent to you, you have already been added you to a list of people potentially interested. (Again, you’re not committing to anything yet.)
If you got here some other way and you’re interested, just go ahead and email me directly to let me know you’re thinking about it: td@stormwritingschool.com
How this retreat has worked in the past:
- Writers gather in the morning hours to write in community. This just means they meet up in the same place and write (not to socialize much). It may seem strange, but it’s a remarkably effective way to be productive. And of course, it’s optional. You can always opt to come late or just work in solitude.
- Writers then have lunch together.
- We then convene in a conference room for teaching from Tim. The session is four hours, and Tim bases the instruction on topics solicited ahead of time from participants.
- The cost is $100 for the day. And we’re looking at November 16th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a very flexible morning arrival time.
That’s it. What are the next steps? I’ll send out details about the location (hopefully, the Memorial Union on the UW campus), and requests for topics. I’ll also ask you to confirm that you’d like to be on the roster (our location might depend on the size of our group).
Thanks!
Tim
